Event: Less talk more action: what are we doing to improve ethnic diversity in the legal profession?

The Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyers Association (SEMLA) and NatWest Group are hosting a virtual event called “Less talk, more action: what are we doing to improve ethnic diversity in the legal profession?”. The event will take place on Wednesday 18 August 2021 between 9.30am and 11am.


The keynote speaker is Ash Denham MSP, Minister for Community Safety who is responsible for the legal profession.


The event will feature a panel discussion and Q&As. The panellists are Teresa Rossetti (NatWest Group), Rupa Mooker (MacRoberts LLP), Tatora Mukushi (Convenor of Law Society of Scotland’s Racial Inclusion Group) and Naeema Sajid (Diversity + and SEMLA). The event will be chaired by Usman Tariq (Advocate and SEMLA).
